Preparing for Remote Instruction
Instructional Material Pick-Up


Dear Stinson Families,
We are busy preparing for remote learning starting August 12, 2020.  There are a few things we need to distribute to ensure your students can be ready to learn.  The safest and best way to do this is to have a set pick-up day, where all families can drive through and pick up their supplies and Chromebooks if needed.  Supply distribution for remote learning will be:

August 5, 2020 8:30 - 11:00 and 12:30 - 3:00

SUPPLIES:
You will be receiving one RLA (reading language arts) book, one math book and some additional teacher provided materials if applicable for your child's grade level. For all of you that did not get a chance to pick up your child's belongings at the end of the 2019-2020 school year, we will have those as well.


For the process to run safely and smoothly please follow these guidelines:

K-3rd students
1. Have a plate or paper in your window with your child's name and grade for 2020-2021.
2. Pull up in the front drive.
3. Pop your trunk and we will put your books and supplies in the trunk.
4. If you did not pick up your child's materials from the end of the 2019-2020 school year, let us know when you pull up and we will bring that out as well.

4th-5th students
1. Have a plate or paper in your window with your child's name and grade for 2020-2021 .
2. Pull up in the west drive.
3. Pop your trunk and we will put your books and supplies in the trunk.
4. If you did not pick up your child's materials from the end of the 2019-2020 school year, let us know when you pull up and we will bring that out as well.

Also August 5, 2020 8:30 - 11:00 and 12:30 - 3:00


CHROMEBOOKS:
Chromebooks will be available for new families (including K).  We will also collect Chromebooks from families who have withdrawn or are going to Otto.  You may also exchange your Chromebook if it is broken (write and attach a note describing the problem).


Picking up Chromebooks for first time:

1. Pull up in the front drive.

2. Have a plate or paper in your window with your child's name and grade for 2020-2021.

3. Pop your trunk and we place the Chromebook and charger. 

4. After school starts, we will ask you to submit a short Google Form for our records documenting the transfer.

Returning Chromebooks:

1. Pull up in the front drive.

2. Have a plate or paper in your window with your child's name and grade for 2020-2021.

3. Pop your trunk and we collect the Chromebook and charger.

Exchanging Chromebooks:

1. Pull up in the front drive.

2. Have a plate or paper in your window with your child's name and grade for 2020-2021.

3. Tell the staff member you need to exchange a Chromebook. 

4. Pop your trunk and we collect the Chromebook and charger and exchange.
